Career Workshops
The Careers & Development team
runs a series of Career Workshops
for Expatriate Partners at regular
intervals in The Hague. These cover:
“Unlocking your potential”
- Reflecting on your work and life
skills
“Your CV – a Marketing
Tool “– CV review
and writing
“Tell me about yourself
(theory and practical)” -
Interview skills
For a full description of the workshop
contents please go to the website
www.outpostthehague.com/careers
and look under Career Workshops.
In addition to these broadly based
skills workshops the Careers &
Development team can give you more
individual based information and advice
in relation to your job search in
the Netherlands.
The
workshops have two distinct yet complementary
themes. The first is self-awareness
and reflection for career exploration
and planning. The second is building
a solid resource base of the practical
skills relating to the job search.
Each workshop is specifically aimed
at the Shell expatriate partner who
is considering current or long-term
options with regard to their career
- employment (paid, unpaid, or self-employment)
and/or professional development.
The workshop
format was developed to recognize and adapt to the busy schedule
of partners and to present opportunities for networking. You
are encouraged to join in the weekly sessions - to build your
resources and your contacts.
